Will Contests
Michigan has clearly defined laws regarding the requirements necessary to make a valid will. There are also specific laws regarding how the Probate Court will treat wills that do not meet these requirements or in the event a person leaves two or more wills. Creditors of an Estate and Distribution of Assets

Guardianship and Conservatorship
Michigan Probate Courts have the legal authority to appoint guardians or conservators of incapacitated individuals residing in Michigan. An appointed guardian gains the legal right to make decision regarding the general health and welfare of a protected person, while a conservator gains the legal right to make decisions regarding a protected persons finances and assets.
